July 11 – Flag Tournament
By this point in the season you should have an established handicap. At check-in you will receive a flag
with that number (your handicap) on it. The goal for the tournament is to finish the round (PAR of 36) plus
your course handicap. For example: You are playing 9 holes and the par is 36. Your 9-hole course
handicap is 21. The goal would be to finish in under 57 strokes. Place your flag behind the green if you
are successful, or place it on the course where your final handicap stroke comes to rest.
